There is an overwhelming amount of misinformation regarding nutrition and dieting. Whether or not we engage in the many fad diets out there, the impact diet culture has on our relationship with food can be very evident. For those recovering from an eating disorder or many years of dieting, we may have questions about the purpose of carbs, fat and protein in our daily intake. In this webinar, melainie rogers nutrition, llc Nutritionist Quinn Haisley will break down the 3 macros and explain how they are used in the body.

Quinn Haisley

Quinn Haisley is a dietitian at melainie rogers nutrition, llc and BALANCE eating disorder treatment center. Originally from Colorado, she moved to New York City more than 10 years ago to attend university. Quinn received her B.A. in Philosophy with a minor in Women’s and Gender Studies from Pace University. She went back to school to get her Associate of Science degree in Dietetics at LaGuardia Community College after deciding on a career change. Upon completing her A.S., Quinn was accepted to the Master’s in Clinical Nutrition program at NYU, where she also completed her dietetic internship. Before working at melainie rogers nutrition, llc, Quinn worked for LaGuardia Community College in their Nutrition and Culinary Management Program, and for the non-profit GrowNYC helping to run one of their nutrition education programs.
